Son of Africa Ephraim
Ephraim Mutalange is known in the Southern parts of Africa as “The Son of Africa.” He was born in Kalulushi a small town in Northern Zambia in the Copperbelt Province. The last born in a family of six he started singing at a very tender age. He sold various merchandise on the street to try and make a living. Realizing he could sing his talent was soon discovered but he refused to sing secular music feeling led to sing gospel music.
Ephraim is now a husband and father and produces albums with other recording artists and has recorded over 7 Gospel Albums all of which have been very successful with a message of hope and love. These include “Miracle Child” (2001): “Limo Ndanaka” (2003); “Lesa Talekelesha” (2005); “Mungu Mwenyewe” (2006); “Favor is My Name” (2008); “Acha Kulia” (2010); “Lekeni Iloke” (2011); and these include the hits “This Life” and “You are the Fire.” His latest release is “Fixing My Eyes” which is his first all English project. The album features 14 year old Alyssa Kay on “Move Me On.”
Ephraim has travelled around the world singing and sharing his testimony and has won awards locally and internationally including “Best Male Singer” and “Best Male Performer.”
Ephraim sings and performs in 3 different languages (English, Bemba, and Swahili), performed in churches and other venues in several African Countries, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Because of what Christ has done in his life, showing him God’s love Ephraim wants to spread the news of hope, peace, love and salvation through his music.
